The Cut To Length template creates a sequence in a typical application where material strips are cut from a long roll of material. The material is indexed forward one cut length, and the strips are cut using a stationary shear/knife. When the cut is made, the material must be stopped for the cut time (time required for the shear to make a cut). After the cut is made, the material is indexed one cut length.
