The Manage Axes form can copy, move and delete an axis,
inlcuding its sequence, drive mechanics, transformation(s), as well
as coupling, gearbox, motor and drive selections and their
specified margins. Choose any Source project to copy any axis
from the Source project to the Target project.
Axes and Power Groups can also be re-ordered by clicking the
Move Up/Down buttons, and deleted using the Delete button.
Click on the Manage Axes button on the toolbar
on the Main form.
Select an axis, then click the Move Up /
Move Down / Delete button to move
or delete the selected axis.
Click any of the 'Add' buttons to add axes to the Target
(current) project.
By default, when the form opens, the Source project is the
current project.
3 Steps to copy an axis from the Source to Target.
- Select the Source axis (one or more axes can be
selected)
- Select the Target axis
- Click the Before / Overwrite
/ After button to copy the Source Axis to the
Target project.
An new or overwritten axis is marked with an asterisk (*).
You can also copy one or more axes from other projects by
specifying the Source project. Click on the ‘Open Folder’
button, which will bring up the ‘Specify Source Project’
dialog. For convenience, a drop down list of the most recent
projects is also available to choose from.
