To help you get up and running quickly, this section highlights
the most frequently used tasks.
- QuickCalc Numeric
Input Calculator. Anywhere you can enter a
number you can use the built-in calculator to add, subtract,
multiply and divide several numbers.
- Charts. Change
scale units, work with the crosshairs, zoom and pan, and export
chart data to file or clipboard.
- Shortcuts.
Quickly jump to handy charts and data by using these useful
shortcuts.
- Create New Sequence.
Create a new sequence with a dwell segment and a move profile.
- Save Sequence. Save an
entire axis sequence to use for other axes, or to backup for later
use.
- Open Sequence. Open an
entire axis sequence that was previously saved using Save
Sequence.
- Import
Sequence. Import an entire axis sequence from
the Clipboard, Excel or a tab delimited text file.
- Export
Sequence. Export an entire axis sequence to the
Clipboard, Excel or a tab delimited text file so that the data can
be manipulated by other programs including a spreadsheet.
- Manage Axes. Add, copy, move
and delete axes and power groups. Copy axes and power groups from
other projects.
- System Check. Perform a
System Check to ensure all components are operating within their
specified limits.
- Create a Bill of Material.
Create a bill of material, and then import it into a spreadsheet,
or export it to a text file.
- Project
Notes. Use the Project Notes to capture design
challenges, constraints, technical data, charts, etc., and save
them in the project file.
- Version Mode and
Opening/Saving Old Project Files. Opening,
working with and Saving older project files.
- Printing.
Print reports to a printer or to a number of file formats including
PDF, BMP, JPEG, EMF.
- Project View Only
Mode. Open a project that uses features not
available in your version.
