SEW EURODRIVE publishes product data for new PxG® economy line in SERVOsoft®

Following the successful integration of the PxG® planetary servo gear units (News Release 2022-03-11), followed by CMP and CM3C series servo motors (News Release 2024-02-14), today SEW-EURODRIVE adds PxG® economy planetary servo gear units.

SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co. KG is expanding their product portfolio in SERVOsoft® by adding the new PxG® economy series – the cost-efficient entry solution for next-generation servo planetary gear units.

The PxG® economy line is part of the modular PxG® system and has been specifically designed for cost-efficient and reliable applications. With three performance classes (P1.G.. to P3.G..), it covers a wide range of typical industrial use cases and offers an optimal balance between cost and performance.
 

P1.G – The Smart Entry Level Option

A servo gear unit that has been deliberately kept simple, is efficient when it comes to planning and use, and is ideal for standard and simple applications. Performance class P1.G.. offers a cost-optimized solution for standard applications with low overhung loads.
 

P2.G – The Robust Basic Option

The perfect choice for applications with slightly increased mechanical requirements – without needing to compromise on compact design and efficiency. Servo gear units in performance class P2.G.. are robust and versatile, with reserves for overhung loads.
 

P3.G – The Cost-Efficient All-Rounder

When you need a clever combination of budget and technology, performance class P3.G.. covers both – it is economical and technically strong. It boasts the high-quality main bearings of performance class 5, while using the cost-optimized straight-toothed gearing of performance classes 1 and 2. This makes it the perfect choice for applications with greater mechanical requirements that have to stay within a tight budget.
