Open the System Supply Power form as shown below. The System
Supply Power shows the total power drawn from the supply.
Notes:
- RMS power can be used as a Guideline for Sizing
Cables, Filters and Fuses
- Total cont power = Supply cont power + Regen
cont power
- Total cont power is the absolute of the average power flow in
both directions. Ie. Total cont power = ABS(Output cont power) +
ABS(Regen cont power).
- The point here is that the Infeed module has losses. So the
more power flowing through it in either direction, the more losses
the Infeed stage consumes.
- Net cont power = Supply cont power - Regen
cont power
- Net cont power is the net average power flow. Ie. Power
consumed by the system.
- Bleeder continuous power is the sum of all
bleeder power from all bleeders in the system.
- In the sample above, the value is zero because it is a
regenerative based system.
For the 'Details' tab, see Energy Cost and Power Flow,
which provides a breakdown of the energy costs and power flow for
each component.
For the 'Project Cost Comparison' tab, see Project Cost Comparison,
in which up to 3 additional projects can be compared for the bill
of materials and energy costs.
