SERVOsoft® Types of Licenses
Some users prefer a software only solution such as the Activation license [ACT SA]. Others prefer the tranferability of a Stand Alone Dongle [DGL SA]. Design teams can benefit from the cost effective Network License Solutions [ACT NW] and [DGL NW] for sharing multiple licenses across several users in the company in offices around the world over VPN and Terminal Server (TS) connections (aka Remote Desktop Connections).
For all licenses, upgrades are just an email away.
ACT SA
- Stand Alone (SA) software only license (no dongle) bound to the machine h/w & s/w signature
- Runtime: 365 days
- Renewals: 50% x ACT 365 price (on or before renewal date)
- For users who prefer not to carry a dongle, who work remotely and may not always have Network or Internet access
- Hardware specific license, transferrable to another PC by requesting a license transfer, which also allows for PC upgrades, hard drive failures, etc.
- Includes Program and Database Updates
- Includes email support, up to 5 support cases per license. Extra fees apply beyond.
DGL SA
- USB license dongle must be plugged into a local USB port when the program is running
- Many users can have SERVOsoft installed on their PC, and share the dongle within your company
- Maintenance Plan:
- Each SERVOsoft license purchase includes a free 1-year Maintenance Plan. When the Maintenance Plan is soon to expire, you can purchase an extension.
- Includes technical support plus all program and database updates, major and minor.
- Price: 20% x DGL SA price (on or before renewal date)
- The purchase of the Maintenance Plan is optional. It is our desire to earn your renewal by providing great technical support, updates and enhancements.
ACT NW
- Software only license (no dongle) bound to the machine h/w & s/w signature; easier to configure a Virtual Machine Network Server
- Network (NW) license allows sharing of multiple licenses across many users in the same office and around the world.
- Runtime: 365 days
- Share and manage multiple licenses across many users in the same office and around the world.
- Often users do not need to use SERVOsoft at precisely the same time. Therefore, a network license solution allows say 30 or more engineers to share 8 licenses.
- The number of shared licenses can be as few as 1, and there is no upper limit.
- Remote VPN connections
- Terminal Server (TS) connections
- Remote users login using a Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) and use SERVOsoft without having to install any software on their own PC
- Runs in one or more Windows Terminal Server sessions up to number of NW licenses
- Renewals:
- Includes technical support plus all program and database updates, major and minor
- 50% x ACT 365 price (on or before renewal date)
